The water immersion sensor is mainly installed in the location where liquid leakage has occurred and needs to be monitored in a timely manner to detect the situation of liquid leakage. Generally speaking, the sensor can be installed in the following positions: (specific installation of leakage controller and leakage sensing line)

1. Installation of leak detection controller

(1) The installation site should be a place that is easy to conduct regular inspections and maintenance, and away from sources of vibration, harmful gases, and strong induction.

(2) The controller is generally installed in the monitoring box, wall, and monitoring room under the static floor, fixed with standard DIN35mm guide rails, and connected with lead wires and induction wires.

(3) The installation position of the controller is generally determined based on the following conditions:

① Power supply - there is a power supply pipe passing through, which facilitates the connection of power to the controller

② Query - The installation location is conspicuous or appropriate, making it convenient for users to query

③ Transmission - to the upper computer software or alarm device within their respective effective transmission distances to ensure signal stability.

2. Laying of leakage sensing line

The sensing characteristics of the induction line are largely related to the on-site environment. In order to operate normally for a long time, the following requirements must be met:

(1) It can only be carried out after the decoration is completed and the ground is cleaned.

(2) The induction line should be tightly attached to the installation plane to ensure maximum contact with the leaked liquid, and fixed with the special accessories provided in the plan. The entire detection circuit should be completed by connecting the termination end.

(3) During the laying process, avoid contact with metal objects, keep it dry and clean, and avoid being covered by cement and dust.

(4) The four core wires of the lead out line face the controller in one section, and the waterproof joint (female head) faces the direction of the detection area.

(5) The waterproof joint (male head) of the induction line faces the direction of the lead out line (female head).

(6) During the docking process of the induction wire, pay attention to the order of the male and female connector pins, align them with the hole position, gently insert them, and then tighten the screw ring clockwise.

(7) The area where the induction line is laid should avoid electrostatic interference.

(8) Induction lines are not allowed to overlap or make contact in the laying area.

(9) The induction line should not be soaked in dirty water or other chemicals for a long time

(10) When installing the induction line on the ceiling, it is necessary to consider using a liquid accumulation tank to prevent leakage and damage to the equipment below during the time from alarm to handling the danger.

(11) When the induction line is fixed with a metal fixing base, the entire fixing base can be coated with insulating paint, wrapped with insulating tape or other insulating materials to block direct contact between the metal fixing base and the induction line.

3. Precautions

(1) When installing systems such as controllers and switches, pay attention to reserving a certain amount of space for future maintenance convenience.

(2) When installing the controller, it should be clamped tightly with the guide rail.

(3) There is a deviation between the design drawings and the actual situation, and the leakage module should be installed according to the actual situation.

(4) Pay attention to electrical protection when operating high-voltage electrical appliances.
